Opened in 1996, the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center (HHWRC) was Ohio's first permanent facility where Summit County residents could safely dispose of environmentally hazardous paints, motor oil, aerosol cans and other household chemicals.

The HHWRC is available for Summit County residents ONLY.  No business, school, or other non-residential waste accepted

Season:

Open annually April through the end of September.   

The 2008 season opening date is Tuesday, April 1, 2008 and the closing date is Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
