Scrap tires waste landfill space. Tires discarded illegally are an eyesore.  They pose threats to public health and safety.
Scrap Tire Recycling

During the months of April through the end of September, Summit County residents OHLY (no business, school, or other non-residential waste accepted ) can recycle their scrap tires at the Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center (HHWRC) located at 1201 Graham Road in Stow, Ohio.  For HHWRC hours of operation click here.

There is a $1.00 per tire fee(CASH ONLY) with a limit of ten (10) tires per vehicle.

Bicycle Spares

Tires can be on or off the rims

Scrap tires can be recycled into tire derived fuel (TDF), filtration liners, playground materials, and asphalt.
